    •    Unfortunately, I’m not able to do research for others so I cannot look up records for you.

    •    What I do provide are resources to help you understand this research and to learn to do your own searching.

    •    Please, before you ask for help, educate yourself on what is important to know by reading the Research Aids on this site. These are good starting points that should help you to get started:

    ⁃    Naming Practices in the Azores

    •    Necessary information to find any records:

        ⁃    Complete Portuguese name of your ancestor

        ⁃    Parents’ names

        ⁃    Dates of events, even approximate

        ⁃    Place where they lived; island and freguesia (village)
